On April 8, 2010, Georgi Karakhanyan battled MMA veteran Bao Quach in the quarterfinal of the Bellator Featherweight Tournament. The heated contest ended with a brutal knee to the head that sent Quach to the canvas unconscious as Karakhaynan advanced in the tournament.
